Learning to Sew

I got this idea from one of my new favorite books, The Creative Family by Amanda Blake Soule. I freehanded these drawings on some posterboard and then cut them out and punched holes in them. I cut some embroidery thread and taped one end to the back of the picture and then taped around the other end so the boys would have a "needle". They really liked sewing and we'll definitely be doing this on a regular basis.
